My approach stems from real leadership experience, supported by five postgraduate degrees, diplomas, and certificates - both academic and professional - and a global perspective shaped by working, studying, and travelling across almost 80 countries.

My Story
People often ask why I left a Dean role to start my own business.
The honest answer is that it took me a while to decide as I genuinely loved a lot of the work that I did when employed in a variety of leadership and teaching roles.
I enjoyed working with students and professionals from around the world. I enjoyed supporting colleagues, developing programmes, and helping people grow in confidence and capability. I enjoyed working across cultures and different educational contexts.
What I wanted was a little more variety along with greater autonomy.
I wanted the flexibility to work with a wider range of people and organisations, and to build a portfolio that combined coaching individuals, developing leaders in organisations, and teaching on executive education programmes.
Before becoming a Dean, I progressed through a series of teaching and senior leadership roles, taking on increasing responsibility for people, programmes, budgets, and organisational performance. I was promoted rapidly year on year and while I was excited by each new role, it certainly wasn't always easy.
Along the way, I experienced many of the challenges that come with greater responsibility: navigating complexity, balancing competing priorities, making difficult decisions that weren't always popular but needed, influencing stakeholders with very different needs, and leading through a lot of change and uncertainty.
My experience has included leading large multidisciplinary teams, chairing academic boards, gaining regulatory approval after long-term projects, overseeing significant budgets and organisational initiatives, serving as a trustee, and working with organisations as a Fractional Chief Learning Officer.
Alongside this, I have taught and coached on MBA and Executive MBA programmes, designed and facilitated Institute of Leadership accredited programmes, and supported leaders across a range of sectors, professions, and international contexts.
In many ways, my work today is a continuation of what I was already doing.
I still spend much of my time helping people navigate change, develop their leadership, strengthen communication, and make sense of complex challenges.
Having worked, studied, or travelled across almost 80 countries, I have learned that leadership challenges are often more universal than we think, even when the context is very different, but the approaches we take to resolving them might not be.
That perspective continues to shape how I work with clients today.
If you'd like to find out more, book in a chat with me, and we can see how I might be able to help you.
